The City that proudly proclaims it is the
"birthplace of the civil rights movement"
still works for nonviolence.



The Alabama Capitol Building showed the exhibit,
speakpeace, http://www.speakpeace.net/TravelingExhibit.aspx
of American poets and Vietnamese children's paintings,
close to photos of the hundreds of
Alabama service men and women who died in Iraq and Afghanistan.
